Hannibal Fire Department responds to another St. Elizabeth fire

Less than a day after fighting a fire at the old St. Elizabeth hospital, fire crews were called back to the building for another fire.

Assistant Chief Jeff Frame of the Hannibal Fire Department said that at approximated 6:50am, fire crews were called back to the scene after a passerby reported seeing flames.

Frame said that the fire was in a different area of the same room that had a fire in it the night before.

The department used a aerial spray before entering the building and extinguishing the rest of the fire.
