New convenient care clinic is opened at Quincy grocery store

Blessing now has three convenient care locations in the Tri-States following a ribbon cutting Friday morning.

Blessing officials opened the new clinic at the Hy-Vee on Broadway in Quincy.

"As the name says, it’s more about convenience," said Dr. Joseph Lane the Clinic Medical Director. "It’s about bringing access to patients. It’s about being available when the patients need to have care, because illness doesn’t know a time frame. So, we try to be there and open up these facilities just for more access points for the community."

The convenient care will be staffed with by nurse practitioners treating walk-in patients 18 months and older for minor illnesses.

"Expect a good quality service," said Lane. "We’ll see your minor sore throat, your rashes, minor sprains and strains. We don’t do any type of suturing or any X-Rays here."

The convenient care will be open Monday through Friday 8 am to 8 pm. On the Weekends 9 am to 5 pm. They will be closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.
