Hundreds of people were out in Washington Park Saturday for Quincy’s annual Q-Fest.
Saturday was a busy day with events, music, and a lot of vendors.
"Q-Fest is awesome because it’s a fantastic community event it’s one of the best weekends in Quincy all year," said Q-Fest Volunteer Maggie Strong, "the fact we can bring all these artists to Quincy and we can bring the community out to appreciate all that art and then the fact that the kids get to do hands on art activities and the music, everything coming together is just wonderful."
Vendors from all around the Tri-States and beyond come out with their merchandise, looking for the right customer like glass sculptor Cameron Smith, who says it’s his 13th year here at Q-fest.
"Meeting the people, making sales, they’re very community oriented," said Smith, "it’s a well run and organized show, they care about the artist."
Festival officials said they hope the festival continues to grow in the future.
