Blessing Health System announced Wednesday the Blessing FastCare location in Quincy’s Shopko store will close at the end of July.
Blessing officials said in a press release that they decided not to renew its agreement with Bellin Health to operate the clinic.
“FastCare was Blessing’s first urgent care clinic outside of the hospital setting when it opened in 2010,” Dr. Joseph Lane stated in a press release. “To ensure success for our patients, we contracted with Bellin Health to guide and assist Blessing with its FastCare operations. Doing that helped us get up to speed quickly and meet the needs of our communities in a new way. Over the past eight years, Blessing has learned much about the successful operation of urgent care clinics outside the hospital setting and is grateful for its relationship with Bellin Health."
Blessing FastCare will close July 31.
