Gun raffle at local auction benefits honor flight

A large firearms auction and sportsman show brought hundreds at the Oakley Lindsey Center in Quincy.

People came out to bid on guns, ATVs, and collectible piece of history from both World Wars. Over 300 firearms were auctioned off.

The event also featured a gun raffle that raised $350 for future events for veterans. 

"We have a couple gun raffles going off today, and those are going on right now as a matter of fact," said Will Sullivan, the owner of Will Sullivan Auctions, "the proceeds are going to  the great river honor flight program."

local vendors participated in the auction and organizers say there was something for everyone at the event.

"We have a lot going on, trying to make it more of an event than an auction," said Sullivan.
