Quincy woman indicted on two counts of arson

A Quincy woman who is suspected of setting fire to a home on Curved Creek Road in Quincy was indicted on Thursday.

Court records show that Lori Thompson was indicted on two counts: residential arson and aggravated arson.

Thompson is charged with residential arson for allegedly setting fire to a residence owned by Imogen Weston. Documents states the charge of aggravated arson comes because Thompson reasonably should have known that one or more persons were in the residence at the time.

Thompson was arrested on July 10, in connection with a residential fire that occurred on July 2.

Thompson was also arrested previously this year for a separate string of house fires. In April she pleaded not guilty to those charges.
