Classic cars were showcased outside the Quincy Museum to support a good cause.
The American Legion held the car show to raise money for Bill Townsend, a navy veteran who has spine and lung cancer.
More than 20 cars showed up to compete in various categories, along with food and music.
"We think it’s great that the community is supporting the car show and benefit for Bill Townsend," Post Commander for Legion Post 37 Dale Hill said. "This is the first one, well actually the second one we’ve tried to do like this, so we hope that it’s an annual event to help veterans who are in need."
Dale Hill said the money raised will go toward medical expenses and they hope to put on more events like this in the future.
