Slick conditions blamed for semi crash in northeast Missouri

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is blaming slick conditions for a semi crash on a northeast Missouri highway Wednesday night.

It happened at the Highway 61 / 24 interchange just south of Palmyra. It’s a location known for issues like this during wet weather.

Troopers say the truck driver lost control in the median and jacknifed, ending up in a ditch.

There were no reports of any other vehicles involved or any injuries and by 10 p.m., crews were clearing the semi from the scene.
