Queer Eye show to film an episode with Quincy Public Schools

Quincy Public Schools Superintendent Roy Webb stated that an episode of the Netflix show Queer Eye will be filmed in Quincy.

Students of the Quincy Senior High Music Department nominated Mrs. Dooley to be the show’s Fab 5’s next hero.

Web stated:

What makes this episode particularly special is that one of show’s cast members, Jonathan Van Ness, aka Jack, graduated from Quincy Senior High in 2004 and remembers Mrs. Dooley fondly. Jonathan’s mother, Mary Winters, helped the show make the initial contact with the district. They will honor Mrs. Dooley with several events including a makeover and they will be renovating one of our classrooms.

Webb says staff and students will be involved in several activities with the show. It will be made October 8th through the 11th.
