Sean Secrease is the play-by-play announcer for Quincy University basketball.

Sean began his broadcast career at KSIS in Sedalia, MO in 1997. While residing in the host city of the Missouri State Fair, he had the opportunity to provide play-by-play for two NJCAA Men’s Soccer National Championship games and work on a news team that won a Missouri Broadcaster’s Award for Small Market News Coverage.

A few years later, Sean was on the air as part of the morning show for KATE in Minnesota as the unforgettable events of 9/11 transpired. That morning’s tragedy, turmoil and feeling of helplessness left an indelible mark.

In 2002, Sean landed in Columbia, Missouri, as the Sports Director for KFRU. Quinn Snyder and Ricky Clemons would soon be forever linked and Gary Pinkel was in the second year of reconstructing Missouri’s football program.

In 2004, Sean went to Florence, Kentucky, to be the voice of the Florence Freedom in the Frontier League.

In addition to play-by-play duties, he will also host the QU men’s basketball coach’s show on Monday evenings at 6 p.m. during the basketball season.
