McDonough Co (WGEM) — McDonough County Sheriff Nick Petitgout has reported the arrest of a Bardolph, Illinois, man for Burglary.
Petitgout stated that on October 31, at 7:45 p.m. McDonough Detectives and Macomb Police arrested Donald Friday, 22 at Macland Plaza in Macomb, Illinois. Friday had a valid McDonough County Warrant for Burglary and Theft Over $500.
Petitgout stated Friday is accused of burglarizing a machine shed in rural Tennessee, Illinois.
A firearm, outboard motors, and chainsaw were stolen from the property on the night of September 8. Friday is also accused of participating in multi felony thefts at Lake Argyle State Park in rural Colchester, Illinois, and participating in a felony theft at Spring Lake Park in Macomb on the night of October 19, Petitgout stated.
The Sheriff’s office stated that Detectives have recovered multiple fishing poles and other equipment to include outboard motors, boat parts, and hunting gear. If you were the victim of a theft at Lake Argyle or Spring Lake, and have not contacted a detective, please call (309) 833-2323.
Friday is currently lodged in the McDonough County Jail on $10,000.00 cash bond.
