After some heavy snowfall in parts of the southeast Tri-States Wednesday night and Thursday, conditions are much more quiet this evening with clear skies skies and temperatures in the cold 20s and 30s right now.
Mostly clear skies and chilly temperatures are in the forecast for the rest of Thursday night with lows in the upper 20s and low 30s.
A quick-moving system will drag a warm front through the area overnight and this feature will help keep temperatures from dropping off too much.
Some mostly to partly sunny skies and pleasant weather are in the forecast Friday with a dry cold front slated to drag across the area. Some 40s for high temperatures are anticipated in the region.
Snow chances return for this weekend with a rain snow mix turning over to snow late Saturday and lasting through Saturday night into Sunday. High temperatures will reside in the 30s both Saturday and Sunday.
Might we see some snowfall accumulation this weekend?
