Keokuk, Ia (WGEM) — Unit Commander Jay Whitaker of the Lee County Narcotics Task Force has reported the arrest of a Keokuk resident for meth.
Whitaker stated Zachary Sherman, 29, was arrested on Thursday at his residence.
Sherman is charged with possession with intent to deliver more than 5 grams of methamphetamine, within 1000 feet of a park, second or subsequent offense, a class B felony with enhancements. Sherman is also charged with a drug tax stamp violation which is a class D Felony. If convicted, Sherman faces up to 55 years in a state correctional facility, Whitaker stated.
