Keokuk man arrested for meth

Keokuk, IA (WGEM) — A Keokuk, Iowa, man has been arrested on a felony drug charge for delivery of methamphetamine.

Unit Commander Jay Whitaker of the Lee County Narcotics Task Force reported the arrest of Joe Cleveland, 34, on Tuesday.

Whitaker stated, Cleveland is charged with delivery of less than five grams of methamphetamine, a Class C felony. If convicted, Cleveland faces up to 10 years in a state correctional facility.

The arrest of Cleveland stems from an investigation by the Lee County Narcotics Task Force into allegations that he was involved in the distribution of illegal drugs in the Lee County area, stated Whitaker.
