Vintage dollhouses for sale in Quincy

If you enjoy vintage dollhouse collections, you’ve got the chance to get your hands on some this weekend.

Taylor’s Fine Furniture in downtown Quincy is closing. The building has been sold and everything must go, including a doll house collection inside, 75 vintage dollhouses in Quincy’s Dollhouse Museum, some of them date back to the 1920’s.

For the past 15 years, Judith Taylor, has collected and designed houses. She said it’s important to her that dollhouses remain in the area.

“I’d like them to go to a child or even an adult, the child in us loves all of this,” said Taylor. “It would help them with imagination and also the placement of furniture and it can be something they can hand down.”

Tomorrow is the last day you can visit the museum from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.. It’s at 123 n 4th St in Quincy. The sale is for everything in the store, but Taylor said you can still contact her to buy a dollhouse through December 12th.

Contact the store at (217) 222-1153 for more information.
