Do you know a kid or young teen who is making a difference in the community? Now’s their chance to be recognized.
U.S. Cellular’s annual “The Future of Good Program” is underway, which will reward 16 young humanitarians ages six to 15. The wireless carrier will give $10,000 towards a good cause chosen by each of the kids.
Adults in the Quincy area can nominate kids by visiting The Future of Good program’s website. You will need to write a brief essay explaining why the nominee makes his or her community a better place.
Nominations will be accepted through Jan. 8, and nominees must not turn 16 before Feb. 28, 2019.
