Bread and milk flew off the shelves at several grocery stores throughout the Tri-States on Friday.

At the County Market on 24th Street in Quincy, every checkout line was full for much of the afternoon.

Shoppers say they were trying to get last minute items in case they cant get out of the house Saturday.

“It’s a little crazy, everybody’s in a pandemonium trying to get milk and bread. It’s flying off the shelves. I got most of mine yesterday but this is last minute pick up as I’ll be in with my kiddos for most of the weekend.”

County Market expects to be fully restocked on milk and bread Saturday.
