Dozens gathered in Hannibal Saturday night for the 110th annual chamber of commerce meeting and banquet.
It was held at the Rialto Banquet Hall on Broadway.
The Hannibal Area Chamber of Commerce held the event and it’s part of the bicentennial this year.
The goal was to recognize the hard work in the city.
“We are presenting people with awards that have made a difference in our community over the last year,” McKenzie Disselhorst, Executive Director said. “It might be a person, organization, a business, just really celebrating the good things that happened in 2018 and getting a preview of things to come in 2019 as well.”
Mimi’s coffee House & Ice Cream was named new business of the year and Douglass Community Services was named the civic contributor of the year.
