Trojans Of Hannibal-LaGrange University Post A Victory At Home On Thursday Night

The Hannibal-LaGrange Trojans played host to the St. Louis College of Pharmacy Eutectics on Thursday night in America’s Hometown.

Trojans standout Brady Smith pumped in 25 points on his home floor in this American Midwest Conference battle. 16 of those points came in the first half.

Tyrone Hueitt, Jr. pulled down nine rebounds for the Trojans and Michael Hood had five steals.

As a team, Hannibal-LaGrange shot 40 percent from the field and out rebounded their opponent on both ends of the floor.

After 40 minutes of action, HLGU defeated STLCOP 75-67 to win their sixth straight game.

The Trojans currently sit in third place in the conference standings with a 12-5 record.

HLGU has five regular season games left on the schedule.

The Trojans will travel to Columbia College this weekend.

The next home game for the Trojans is set for Thursday, February 14 against Lindenwood University-Belleville.
