Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and workers at local flower shops said they’re ready for the busy rush.
The floral manager at County Market in Quincy said it’s their busiest time of year, as thousands of orders come in.
She said they move 10 to 15 employees over to the floral section to accommodate all flower orders as quickly as possible.
As orders continue to come in, your best bet is to get your orders in sooner rather than later.
“Order early, as early as possible,” County Market Floral Manager Kathy Terwelp said. “I know there’s last minute things that come up, but please, it just makes it easier for us to line them up and get them there on time.”
You can pick up your flower orders in store or have them delivered. For those last-minute shoppers, County Market will take orders up until noon on Valentine’s Day.
