A wintry mix will continue in parts of the area into Monday evening  with the north half of the viewing area seeing the best chances for icy road conditions.

Ice accumulations of up tenth (locally two tenths) are expected along with some minor sleet accumulations less than one inch.

The precip will transition to all rain in the south and central areas as warmer air enters the area during the afternoon and by evening.

Rain will continue into the overnight as a cold front pushes through bringing colder air and changing precipitation over to a wintry mix again latte night with some snow also expected into early Tuesday morning before tapering off by noon Tuesday. Gusty winds will develop Tuesday, with gusts over 40 mph possible.

Mostly sunny on Wednesday with highs in the 40s, nearing the lower 50s on Thursday and colder air with more snow returns by Friday.
