The threat of additional significant wintry precipitation is exiting the area this morning, but skies will remain cloudy with gusty winds developing this morning into the afternoon.

West winds will be sustained at 20-30 mph with gusts possibly over 45 mph at times today. Wind advisories are in effect in the Tri-States. A few flurries or snow showers are possible, but skies should remain cloudy. Temperatures steady in the lower 30s.

Some clearing is expected this evening into the overnight with winds diminishing, low temperatures will fall back into the mid to upper teens.

Mostly sunny skies tomorrow with highs warming up into the lower 40s. A few rain chances arrive on Thursday with highs in the mid to upper 40s, near 50F.

On Friday, we turn colder with some snow chances returning and highs back into the 20s.

Looking toward the weekend, Saturday looks dry, but more snow chances arrive on Sunday.
