Slick roads cause multiple crashes on Highway 24 near Hannibal

Hannibal (WGEM) — The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported five crashes Tuesday morning on Highway 24 between Hannibal and Monroe City, Missouri.

The crashes happened on a stretch of Highway 24 about ten miles outside of Monroe City.

MSHP stated that slick roads led to the crashes and they want to remind drivers to use caution and slow down in inclement weather.

MSHP said the road was down to one lane for a short amount of time.

MSHP stated that only minor injuries were reported.
