We saw lots of clouds out there Thursday with some peeks of the sun and temperatures in the 30s for highs this afternoon.
Periods of clouds are expected Thursday night at times with lows in the upper teens and 20s in the WGEM viewing area.
After some sun and clouds to start the day on Friday, increasing clouds roll right back in for the rest of the day with an isolated chance of a rain shower in the afternoon. Highs will be in the 30s and low 40s.
Rain chances increase on Friday night with cloudy skies and lows in the 30s staying above freezing in most areas. Could be a brief period of freezing rain in the northeast Tri-States late Friday night.
Showers and storms are likely on Saturday with mild highs in the 40s and low 50s!
Windy conditions unfold as a low pressure system lifts away from the region on Saturday night allowing for cold air to rush in changing any rain late to some snow possibly before ending by daybreak Sunday morning.
Decreasing clouds are expected on Sunday with sun arriving and gusty winds continuing with highs in the 30s.
