HANNIBAL, Mo (WGEM) — Hannibal police arrested four individuals in an early morning drug raid on Friday.
Lt. John Zerbonia stated that the Hannibal Police Department Anti-Crime Enforcement Squad (ACES) and Special Response Team, served a search warrant Friday morning on a residence in the 700 block of Church St.
Zerbonia stated that officers found a large amount of what is believed to be heroin, scales and packaging materials, 2 handguns, cocaine paraphernalia and a small amount of what is believed to be marijuana.
Zerbonia reported that four suspects were taken into custody.
Reginald Hilton Jr, 23, of Hannibal was arrested on Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Felony Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Receiving Stolen Property, and Misd Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Reginald Hilton Sr, 51, of Hannibal, was arrested on Distribution of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Demetrea Hilton, 53, of Syracuse, New York, was arrested on Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Lexsys Dowty, 20, of Hannibal, was arrested on Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Receiving Stolen Property, Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and Misd Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Zerbonia stated Reginald Hilton Sr. and Demetrea Hilton were released pending Prosecutor review. Reginald Hilton Jr and Dowty were placed on 24 hour holds at the Marion County Jail.
Zerbonia stated the arrests are apart of the Hannibal Police Departments focused efforts to hinder heroin distribution in the city of Hannibal.
UPDATE: Lt. John Zerbonia reported on Tuesday that a warrant had been issued on Friday by the 10th Judicial Circuit Court Charging Reginald D Hilton with Possession of a Controlled Substance Class D Fellony. Hiltons bond was set at $50,000.00 cash only. He remains in the Marion County Jail.
