Change orders approved for Adams County Jail project
We are hearing from county officials about changes to the Adams County Jail project.
Tuesday night, the county board approved $188,000 in change orders for the project. One of those was using regular windows instead of sky windows.
Officials say the county will only have to cover $28,000 of the $188,000.
“We’ve made mostly cuts,” said Adams County Board Chairman Kent Snider. “We’ve had very few adds. We kinda saved up the adds and did them all at one time and I don’t see a lot more coming down the road so I think this is probably close to the end of the changes.”
The project is expected to be complete this November.
