Laddonia, Missouri, man arrested on meth and other charges

PIKE COUNTY, Il (WGEM) — A traffic stop in Pike County, Illinois, has resulted in the arrest of a Laddonia, Missouri, man.

Pike County Sheriff David Greenwood reported that Joshua Parks, 29, of Laddonia, Missouri, was arrested on Tuesday.

Greenwood stated that Parks was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine, less than five grams, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of any amount of methamphetamine, driving while license suspended, illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

The arrest came following a traffic stop of a gray 2007 Chevrolet Malibu on US 54 near State Highway 106.

Parks was lodged in the Pike County Jail.
