People attended the 10th annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner at St. Rose of Lima Parish Hall on Sunday.

A full house packed the hall for a traditional Irish dinner, served by volunteers with the church.

The event included live entertainment from different groups. The pastor of the church said this is a special holiday for the church.

“There are a lot of Irish roots here in Quincy and many people here used to be members of this parish or were connected at some point with the parish and like to come back but also other people who just like to celebrate St. Patrick’s as well,” Pastor Arnaud Devillers said.

The pastor said the event draws about 1,200 people every year.
