For small business owners looking to increase their web presence, there’s a local resource you might not know about.

Thursday at the John Wood Community College Workforce Development Center local non-for-profits got free training on behalf of the Tracy Family Foundation on how to use Google to showcase their organization and improve public knowledge of their organization.

Organizers said it’s part of several classes from the college provides on how to use social media and the internet to improve business.

“All businesses large and small need to be able to use the internet to get their branding out there, I think that’s crucial for everyone to know, and to be able to access the training that they need here locally with the phenomenal experts we have is just an added bonus,” said JWCC Business Outreach Assistant Keely Ragar.

Ragar said if you think the class sounds right for your business, you can contact the school to set up a class.
