Adams County officials are prepping for the 2020 census.
Wednesday night, the 2020 Complete Census Count Committee kicked off its planning process for the April 1st 2020 census.
The committee has more than 60 members of Quincy’s civic, faith, business, and school communities.
One of the committee’s goals is to focus on the millennials, elderly, and people who live in poverty.
“It’s important that that information is based off of the number of people who live in those communities so its important to get an accurate and full count so we get our fair share of federal revenue” Quincy Planing & Development Director Chuck Bevelheimer said.
The committee has more meetings and events planned through March 2020.
