Quincy, IL (WGEM) — Some Quincy parents got a little help on Monday to answer some of the big parenting questions that many people have had at some point in their life.
Several parents spoke to around 30 different vendors at the 6th annual Parenting Fair at Blessing Hospital on Monday. The topics ranged from healthcare to after-school activities to keep kids engaged.
“Parenting is a very hard job there’re so many different facets to raising a child regarding their health, their mental health, their development,” said Gretchen Mason with the Blessing Health System. “So, having all of this here just allows the parents to get the information they need so they can try to raise happy, healthy children.”
Organizers said throughout the event there was a steady flow of parents.
