Colchester man arrested for domestic battery of an infant

COLCHESTER, IL (WGEM) — McDonough County Sheriff Nick Petitgout has reported the arrest of Joshua Icenogle, 22, of Colchester, Illinois.

Petitgout stated that Icenogle was arrested Thursday night by McDonough County detectives after a joint investigation with the Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS), the Bushnell Police Department, the McDonough County State’s Attorney’s Office, and the Pediatric Resource Center of Peoria (PRC).

Petitgout stated Icenogle is accused of causing bodily harm to his infant son, fracturing a limb.

Icenogle was charged with Aggravated Battery and two counts of Aggravated Domestic Battery. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail by McDonough County Detectives, Petitgout stated.

Petitgout said the child is expected to make a full recover and has been placed into protective custody with DCFS.
