QU Hawks Head Baseball Coach Josh Rabe has the brown and white headed to the NCAA Tournament in the Division 2 ranks for the 5th straight year.

Sunday night the the Quincy University baseball team got together on campus as The Hawks Nest to find out their NCAA Tournament fate.

QU wrapped up the regular season with a 32-18 slate which was good enough to earn the Hawks the 6th seed in the Midwest Regional where they’ll take on Wayne State.

That matchup is set for Thursday afternoon at 3:30 in Springfield.

This postseason contest presents a familiar challenge for QU.

Josh Rabe said, “We played them in 2017 in the regional tournament twice when we went to the World Series.

They always pitch pretty well and play good defense so we’ll see what happens.”
