QND Raiders Beat QHD Blue Devils On The Baseball Diamond 7-2

In front of a very vocal crowd at the Ferd Niemann, Jr. Memorial Field, the Quincy Notre Dame Raiders posted a 7-2 win against Quincy High on Monday.

It was a tough battle early for both squad. QND starting pitcher Tommy Ray has his heater working in the first three innings, but “Number 7” was touched up by

the Blue Devils for two early runs. The Raiders got on the board in the bottom of the third innings thanks to an RBI-single by Dylan Foley.

Quincy Notre Dame’s Brexton Beard came up with a big hit in the bottom of the 4th inning that tied the game at 2.

Quincy High gave up 3 runs in both the 4th and 5th innings against the “Blue and Gold.”

After 7 innings of action, the Raiders of Quincy Notre Dame posted a 7-2 win on their home turf over the visiting Blue Devils of QHS.
