Much Warmer Weather and Muggy Conditions For Thursday

Headlines: Much warmer weather set to arrive in the Tri-States on Thursday. Unsettled weather for the coming weekend with the possibility of strong to severe storms…

It was a sunny day with warmer weather and temperatures running up into the 70s to low 80s.

A quiet evening of weather is expected to continue under with mostly clear skies.

Later tonight, a warm frontal boundary will approach the area.  This weather feature will provide the opportunity for some showers and storms to develop in an isolated fashion late night.

Low temperatures will be in the 50s.

The slim chances for isolated rain showers and storms will continue into Thursday morning.

By afternoon, expect more in the way of some sun with any spotty rain chances ending by midday.

Much warmer temperatures will roll in and will top out in the middle to upper 80s with muggy conditions.

Thursday night into Friday will be quiet for most areas with a slim chance of showers and storms in the far north viewing areas under partly cloudy skies.

Temperatures will fall into the 60s Thursday night followed by hot 80s on Friday afternoon.

The weekend forecast is shaping-up to be unsettled with showers and storms at times.

Some of the storms could possibly become severe later this weekend.

We will monitor the potential for severe weather moving forward as we approach the weekend.
