Our Sunday started off pleasant with partly cloudy skies. Later in the afternoon though, a line of thunderstorms swept through the Tri-States putting down some very heavy rain. Those storms moved through very quickly. A few isolated showers and thunderstorms stuck around into the early evening hours, but those were very hit and miss. For the rest of our Sunday night, we’ll have partly to mostly cloudy skies. Our lows will be in the mid 40s which is below average for this time of year.
Monday will be cooler with highs in the mid 60s, again below average. However, it will be a beautiful day with mostly sunny skies. Our next chance of showers and thunderstorms will arrive Tuesday. While we could have some scattered showers and thunderstorms Tuesday morning, we will be more focused on the afternoon hours as we could have some strong to severe storms. The main threats with these storms would be flash flooding, hail and damaging winds. The storm threat will continue into Tuesday night.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 80s. However, the rest of the week looks to be pretty active with rain chances the rest of the week.
