On Sunday, people got a sneak peak into what organizers said is the largest collector car auction in the country.
Sullivan Auctioneers’s 13th annual spring car auction is tomorrow. Sunday, organizers allowed people to get a good look at the cars and other items before the auction on Monday.
Dan Sullivan said you can find anything from ’65 Corvettes, to trucks and motorcycles, to collector car merchandise.
He said people come from all over to attend the auction.
“They come from all over the country,” Sullivan said. “We have stuff from all over. I think my brother Joe, the coordinator for of the auction, he said that we have consignors from 17 different states, so it’s going to be pretty hectic and a lot of activity in Quincy Illinois.”
The doors of the Oakley Lindsay Center will open Monday at 5:30 a.m. with the auction starting at 9 a.m.
Sullivan said there will be designated parking and shuttles running all day.
