“Mother Nature” Causes Delays For The Iowa Hawkeyes In Omaha

Due to potentially dangerous storms in the Omaha area, the University of Iowa baseball team’s Big Ten Tournament quarterfinal game versus Nebraska has been postponed to Friday morning.

The game will start approximately one hour after the conclusion of the Ohio State-Maryland game, which was halted Thursday night with one out in the bottom of the eighth with the Buckeyes

leading 3-2. The resumption of the game will begin at 10 a.m. (CT) at TD Ameritrade Park.

The quarterfinal matchup will be the fourth game between Iowa and Nebraska this season with the Hawkeyes taking the regular season series, 2-1.

Junior Grant Judkins (4-6, 2.32 ERA) will start for the Iowa Hawkeyes.
