Twain on Main continued in Hannibal Sunday, and while many enjoyed the shopping and food, the event had a special place for all to learn more about the wild west.
The “Cowboy College” held activities that Mark Twain wrote about in his autobiography, “Roughing It.”
Kids and adults alike were able to learn to rope cattle, play nineteenth century games, and more.
“Well first and foremost we hope they have a really good experience, and maybe a little bit more drive to learn about mark twain, and read the book ‘Roughing it.'” said Twain on Main Committee Member Melissa Cummins.
Twain on Main also included live re-enactments of twain’s writings, music, and more to celebrate his life and work.
