River communities in the Tri-State area continue to wait for flood water to further recede for cleanup to begin.

In La Grange, Missouri the water has receded, but many roads remain underwater. Main Street was still closed Monday morning and Route B was also still blocked off.

Part of the parking lot of the Mark Twain Casino is still flooded, but the business remains open.

City Administrator John Roach tells WGEM News, although the water has receded from around city hall on Main Street, they will continue to operate out of the fire department.

Roach said they will start some of the clean up process this week and they hope to be back operating in the city hall building by Friday, June 14.
