Search of Kahoka, Missouri, home results in five drug arrests

KAHOKA, MO (WGEM) — Clark County Sheriff Shawn Weber has reported the arrest of five Kahoka residents after a search warrant was executed at a Kahoka home.

Webster stated that Tuesday afternoon the Clark County Sheriff’s Office assisted by the North Missouri Drug Task Force and the Missouri State Highway Patrol executed a search warrant at the Jim McCarty residence on County Road 307 in Kahoka.

This search warrant followed an investigation by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office. The search resulted in the seizure of controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, stolen property and a firearm.

Webster reported the following arrests:

Jim McCarty
Jim McCarty was charged with three class D felonies for possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (Illegal Prescription drugs), unlawful possession of a firearm, and a class D misdemeanor for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

McCarty was transported to the Clark County Detention Center where he is currently being held on a $50,000 cash only bond.

Karla McCarty
Karla McCarty was charged with three class D felonies for possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (Illegal Prescription drugs), unlawful possession of a firearm, and a class D misdemeanor for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Karla was transported to the Clark County Detention Center where she is currently being held on a $50,000 cash only bond.

Alicia Sturm
Alicia Sturm was charged with three class D felonies for possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (Illegal Prescription drugs), and Endangering the welfare of a child involving drugs 1st degree.

Sturm was transported to the Clark County Detention Center where she is currently being held on a $35,000 cash only bond.

Cathy Simmons
Cathy Simmons was charged with two class D felonies for possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine), and Endangering the welfare of a child involving drugs 1st degree.

Simmons was transported to the Clark County Detention Center where she is currently being held on a $35,000 cash only bond.

Joseph Whitehead
Joseph Whitehead was charged with one class D felony for possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine).

Whitehead was transported to the Clark County Detention Center where he is currently being held on a $35,000 cash only bond.
