Teen Reach held the Summer Kick-Off event Saturday.
The event gave families the chance to come explore some local summer programs.
Several local organizations, such as Boy Scouts of America and the Quincy Public Library, came out to advertise what they had for families over the summer months.
One attendee said she believes the event is a good chance to show the community what is coming up.
“It just gives everybody a feel of what’s expected to come, you know we have many camps and many programs to do this summer and it just gives everybody, you know, a fresh start,” said Danay Kelley.
The event also had a barbecue and games and activities for families to enjoy.
