Quincy University celebrated the close of their QU Fund for the 2018-2019 school year. This year was the ninth year in a row that they surpassed their one million dollar goal.
The university raised over 1.1 million dollars this school year from the QU Fund alone. Combined with other funds, the school raised over four million.
Money will go to support various aspects around campus.
“The money from the QU Fund supports student scholarships, campus enhancements, technology upgrades, and faculty development, just to name a few,” said Vice President for University Advancement, Julie Bell.
The QU Fund raises money through alumni, donors, and other supporters of the university.
