Keokuk man arrested for delivery of meth

KEOKUK (WGEM) — A Keokuk man was arrested for delivery of methamphetamine and a probation violation on Thursday.

Unit Commander Jay Whitaker has reported the arrest of Colby Manning, 26, Thursday in the 2400 block of Bank St. on felony drug charges and a warrant for probation violation.

Whitaker states Manning was charged with delivery of less than five grams of methamphetamine, a class C Felony, with enhancement for 2nd offense.

The arrest of Manning stems from an investigation by the Lee County Narcotics Task Force into allegations that he was involved in the distribution of illegal drugs in the Lee County area.
