After Monday night’s 7-3 victory over Washington High, the Central Lee Lady Hawks wrapped up their regular season slate with a (9-17) slate.

CLHS now has their sights set on posting a big upset in regional play on Wednesday.

Tomorrow Central Lee will take on (29-4) Louisa Muscatine on the prep softball dirt.

The Hawks face the top seeded Falcons on the road with first pitch set for 7 PM.

The Hawks know they have a tall task in front of them, but are intent on being prepared for the challenge.

Head Coach Darrell Krehbiel said, “One is we have to keep them off the base paths, totally.

Minimize the runners, don’t give up any walks for when they do hit the ball.

Because they’re going to hit it. We just got to come out and score.

Hopefully hit their rise ball.

We’ve been working on it and the kids have been coming in and working on it.”
