Gems slugger Joey Polak had three of the six home runs that the Quincy belted last night during their 4 run victory over the Hoots of Hannibal.
That home run frenzy tied the Prospect League record for homers in a game. Only three players have accomplished that feat in the history of the league.
Yesterday, before the Gems game against the Hoots, the Quincy Notre Dame grad and current Missouri State University standout shared a few thoughts on just how well
he’s seeing the ball right now at the dish.
“Still making some adjustments, from where I was in the spring, so just still learning some new things.”
Polak went on to add, “At the same time, everything is just a learning curve, seeing it pretty good, just gotta keep getting more at bats.”
