We made it to Friday!
It’s a mild start with temperatures in the mid 60s. A lot more sunshine today with a few passing clouds. Highs will be in the upper 80s near 90. Lows in the in the mid 60s.
A high pressure system will have a hold of our weather pattern for the next few days, which will help keep the majority of the rain out of our area. As the high pressure system slides east it will draw in southerly winds to our area warming up temperatures and drawing in moisture.
Keeping the weekend dry, for now. Depending on location of the high pressure system will determine whether or not we see rain on Sunday. Otherwise, it will be a toasty weekend with highs in the 90s and lows in the 70s with mostly sunny skies.
Tropical Storm Barry is still turning in the Gulf and projected to make landfall tomorrow morning. Depending on the the track of the storm, we could see remnants of Barry late Monday and throughout Tuesday.
