QUINCY – Two adults and two children are in the hospital after a two-car crash in downtown Quincy Saturday afternoon.

Captain Chris Bichsel of the Quincy Fire Department said the crash happened at the corner of Vermont and 8th outside the Dipity Dog Pet Salon.

Bichsel confirmed to WGEM News one man was taken to Blessing Hospital for a broken femur and a woman was taken for a possible left arm injury, along with her two four-year-old children for observation.

Bichsel said the crash damaged Dipity Dog, cracking the front window, breaking bricks and also knocking over a traffic light.

He said the cars have been cleared and the intersection is open again.
