Extreme Heat Continues

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM SATURDAY HEAT INDEX VALUES Up to 110 and the high temperature each afternoon will be in the mid to upper 90s.

Dangerously high temperatures and humidity could quickly cause heat stress or heat stroke if precautions are not taken. The very young, the elderly, those without air conditioning, and those participating in strenuous outdoor activities will be the most susceptible. Also, car interiors can reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.

After the extreme heat ends on Saturday we have the potential for thunderstorms on Sunday. A little rain wouldn’t be a bad thing but I would be just fine without any high wind.
