Quincy, IL (WGEM) — After-school programs are ramping back up, now that the new school year is here.

Teen Reach in Quincy has spots for students third grade and up to register. The program is free. Program Coordinator Christopher Turner said students will learn life skills, stay active, and focus on academics.

“One of the things we have is Homework Power Hour,” said Turner. “They come right after school, we get down to the book, we have tutors that come, we have plenty of volunteers to help out. We even have educators that will come to help the kids with their homework and to stay on task.”

If you would like to register your student or volunteer you can contact or go to Teen Reach for more information.
